Free e-waste collection, with your data wiped

Got a cupboard of old laptops, phones, cables or a broken printer? I'll collect your unwanted tech for free, working or not. Data is wiped securely, and everything is reused or properly recycled.

What I collect

Any unwanted tech, working or not, as long as one person can lift it safely.

Computers & laptops

Desktops, laptops, tablets, monitors, keyboards, hard drives and servers.

Phones & gadgets

Mobile phones, smartwatches, cameras, games consoles, chargers and cables.

Printers & office kit

Printers, scanners, shredders, routers, switches and phone systems.

TVs & home tech

TVs, set-top boxes, speakers, smart home devices, sat navs and audio equipment.

Please note: I can't collect large household appliances such as fridges, freezers, washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers or cookers, or general kitchen and garden electricals. Your local recycling centre or council bulky waste collection can take these.

How it works

Three simple steps

Tell me what you've got

Roughly what items and how many, plus your town or postcode. A photo helps.

Pick a collection slot

Households: I'll fit you into the next round in your area. Businesses: choose a date that suits you.

Collected, wiped, reused

Data is securely wiped, working kit is refurbished and reused, and the rest is recycled properly.

Your data, securely wiped

Old computers and phones are full of personal and business information. Every drive is securely erased before reuse, and any drive that can't be wiped is physically destroyed.

Want to watch it happen, or keep the drive? Just say, and I can wipe or remove it on site.

For businesses

Clear out old IT, with the paperwork done

Offices, surgeries, schools, shops and holiday-let companies all build up old equipment. I'll collect it at a time that suits you and provide what you need for your records.

  • Free collection on a date that suits you
  • Waste transfer note for your duty-of-care records
  • Data wiping certificate listing each device by serial number
  • Help setting up the replacement equipment if you need it

For households

No tip run needed

No car, no time, or just don't fancy the queue at the recycling centre? I run regular collection rounds across North Norfolk. Leave your items out or I'll collect from the door.

Old computer or phone? I'll make sure your photos, emails and passwords are wiped first, or move anything you want to keep to your new device.

E-waste questions

Is collection really free?

Yes. Household collections are free on regular area rounds, and businesses can book a free collection on a date that suits them. I refurbish and reuse what I can, which is what keeps it free.

What happens to the data on my old computer or phone?

Every storage device is securely wiped before it's reused, and drives that can't be wiped are physically destroyed. Businesses get a data wiping certificate listing each device.

What can't you take?

Large household appliances such as fridges, freezers, washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers and cookers, and general kitchen or garden electricals. Your local recycling centre or council collection can take those. If you're unsure about an item, just ask.

Do you take old CRT TVs and monitors?

Yes, as long as one person can lift them safely. They contain materials that need specialist handling, so they're sent to a specialist recycler rather than reused.

Do businesses get paperwork?

Yes. You'll receive a waste transfer note for your records and, for any data-bearing devices, a data wiping certificate.

Which areas do you collect from?

Anywhere in North Norfolk and north of Norwich, including Cromer, Sheringham, Holt, North Walsham, Aylsham, Mundesley, Fakenham, Wells-next-the-Sea and the villages in between.
